The patient came to our attention with a missing lower right first molar due to caries.
A 3 D implant position was made to plan the subcrestal placement to improve vertical soft tissue thickness. A 4.5* 12 mm B&B implant was placed and a ridge contour with GBR made to restore soft tissue thicknesses. Apical mattress suture also was taken to minimize risk of wound dehiscence.
