This patient came to us with a vertical bone defect. The patient has a reabsorbed saddle that is not suitable for implant insertion, so it was decided to perform a first surgery with the insertion of bone regeneration material and wait for it to heal before proceeding with the insertion of B&B Dental implants. From a first radiological examination before surgery we evaluated the situation, the vertical bone defect becomes evident and from the clinical check up we can classify the soft tissue with a thin gingival morphotype. The surgery required the opening of s full thickness flap with release incisions and total detachment from the whole ridge. The titanium T-barrier has been modeled and adapter to the anatomy of the ridge, then it has been filled with bone regeneration material and fixed with 4 screws for osteosynthesis. In addition we applied a collagen T-barrier membrane on top.
After 4 months we performed a second surgery to remove the titanium grid. The soft tissued are more keratinized and we could notice the restoration of bone volumes that are now suitable for the insertion of implants. We then performed during this stage the insertion of 3P and EV line implants based on bone density.
