The loss of a single posterior tooth can cause the anatomical readaptation of tissues and it may lead to the loss of other teeth. This lady came to our office with one tooth missing, we advised the insertion of an implant with delayed load due to the non aesthetic positioning. After 6 months from the insertion of a 3P implant we took an impression with an open tray and a titanium transfer to ensure precision and developed a stone model on which we evaluated the diameter and the angulation of the abutment. We then inserted the proper 25° peek abutment and adapted to the spaces to fit the resin reconstruction. This first temporary rehabilitation is needed to shape the soft tissue. After a year a titanium abutment has been inserted on which we cemented a zirconia reconstruction.
