Cases of bone deficiency may require different approach, in this case to avoid traumatic procedures such as sinus lifts or the insertion of zygomatic implats the treatment plan involved the insertion of two posterior pterygoid implants stabilized in the retro tuberous area, an area rich in a stable kind of bone. Pterygoid implants can help stabilize rear portion of full arches or allow the rehabilitation of edentoulous posterior saddles.
